Just a Question ...

hey people .. i have 2 small questions for y'all ..

1 .are there some options available in the US but not available for the middle east ?

2. to shift the gear to neutral from D , do u need to press the button ? in short , when do u need to press the button and when dont u need ???

1. Haven't seen your options sheet.

2. There is a side squeeze button and a top Park button. You would squeeze the side button if you wanted to push it up all the way to reverse; otherwise you would just push it forward into neutral with no squeeze. When the X5 is stopped you can press the Park button anytime to engage Park.

This is my memory from many hours of test driving. True owners will give me the if I told you wrong...

Yes there are some options available in the US but not available for the middle east Like

1. Digital Compass mirror (4NA)
2. iPod & USB adaptor (6FL)
3. Universal Garage Door Opener (319)

I heard the US goverment did not want anybody in the middle east getting the technology the compass mirror uses. Something about national security .

All kidding aside, that is odd they would not offer that option. The garage door opener is another odd one unless the standards over there are different.

Did you ever push the park button at very low speeds (5 MPH)? It gives you a warning but does not engage (THANKFULLY!!)

i dont get the stupid digital compass thing .. in our RR we have that off road digital compass and in our infiniti QX56 , we also have it and btw the ipod thingy is an option here too .. we have iPods too , you know
