New Titanium Silver - first impressions
It's now my turn to share with you the new beauty that arrived last week! Previous Car: E53 3.0D, Black, Black interior, 2005 New E70: 3.0 D, Titanium SIlver, Black Nevada, Sports Pack (wheels style 213), Alarm, Running Boards, 3rd row, USB adapter, Bluetooth, Navigation, Window tint, Alu trims, Tempomat, Roof rails, Xenon lights and some more. Waiting for Silver Titanium grill when out of stock will be resolved... Delivery time: 14 weeks (3 weeks ahead of schedule) First Impressions after 300 miles...: - Engine perfomance is amazing. A real improvement vs. the E53. smooth and impressive in "curvy" rides. - Interior is a significant upgrade. Level of personalization is terrific and IPOD in car changes everything! - Long hesitant with Confort seats, no regrets on sports seats which are equally comfortable. Only watchout is that headrest does not inclinate much as it is now fully automated. - 2nd row is far more spacious and 3rd row fits perfectly well our 6 and 4 kids which enjoys these seats most, of course. Interestingly, we can recline 2nd row without removing baby seats. Access is still good. Also baby seats are not needed in 3rd row due to size of chairs and quality of belt. - While early days, have the feeling noise in car is far reduced vs. E53. Especially the AC vents which I always found anoyingly noisy before. - Tempomat with "braking" function is simply amazing. I always used this as I drive mainly in highways. This one enables to control your speed very efficiently (with actal speed display on screen) as well driving more economically. Enjoy the pictures! I'll post more when Titanium grill will be installed and when I'll have winter tyres on as well (most likely going to be style 212 or 177). Last edited by LKK; 10-07-2007 at 04:42 PM. |

I was torn between the sport seats and the comfort seats, but now I think the sport seats are more then enough.

Looks Great - Nice Pics!
I too had an E53 back in 2001 and I most say, they have come a long way.
