Zune with 6FL USB option

Anyone out there who has tested the 6FL option with a Zune player?
The PC just recognizes it as a HD as well, so it should work, but you never know.
This article says no: http://www.bmwcca.org/node/7241 but gives Digital Rights Management (DRM) as the reason.
So yes, the music you buy directly on your device won't play because of this (but my guess is that this is also true for protected music on an Ipod).
If you just sync your ripped CD music collection without DRM is should be OK isn't it?
I hope to find someone who tested this with 6FL.

I will have my E70 next month finally after ordering it in November 2006...
I've had all the possible delays, Comfort seats, Sun blinds, and more (I won't bore you with) but it should arrive now.
Oh, and when it finally made it to production the dealer called me that something went wrond with the Sun Blinds, the "forgot" to check it....
How stupid can you get, after so much delay still forget it..
But the good news is that they promised they would build it in at the dealer with complete original parts, so apperently this is possible.
Probably expensive but in this case that is BMW's problem.

I have a Zune, and it does not work in my 6FL. Perhaps the upcoming new 2.0 Zune software may help, but I doubt it. I just use 4GB USB memory stick for music in the car instead, and I am very happy with that.

6FL with iPod plays protected music with no issues.

It might work with your Zune to PC USB cable. I was able to get my 3rd Generation iPod to work this way. It's just like a portable HD or a flashdrive at this point. But the problem with that is it won't recharge itself; and so it dies from lack of power fairly quickly, as it's constantly spinning the HD.
