Saddle Brown appearance

Who has seen the saddle brown interior in an E70 in the flesh? I love the colour and it's available here in australia, but I'm just wondering if it looks a bit whack due to the black trim used on the back of the front seats and under the base of the seats etc

found some pics here: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...2&postcount=31

..but I still can't really tell for sure

Have any of you who have seen it in the flesh got any comments on how you thought it looked?

thanks

You're right about the black on the rear of the seats. It throws it completely off. I never noticed before - but his ride was a special order. Are all saddle browns like that ?

according to my brochure that's how it'd be if I ordered it here too - brochure colour matrix shows saddle brown mixed with black

I have seen in person and I liked it. The one I saw also had anthracite headliner so it went very well as a whole combo. Stock headliners have very cheap look and feel.

More pics. Notice the headliner on A-pillar

Looks a lot like the Tabacco/Black (LUF1) or Tabacco Napa (NAF1) options from the 07 Brochure:

I have Auburn in my E60 545 and not only is the Auburn color very close to Saddle Brown, but they also both share the two tone setup with black carpets, door panel surrounds, and seat-backs. The two tone looks just stunning and I wish more interior colors were available two tone with black.......And this is coming from someone who absolutely HATES black interiors.

Yes, it is a US option and can be ordered. My understanding is that it has limited availability and, for me, it wasn't worth taking the chance of delaying my order to get it.

I have Saddle Brown in my new E92 335xi coupe and love it. My wife is looking at getting a X5 and really likes the color. It's not listed on the BMW USA site, is the color a special order option, and if so, how much extra is it, and can the dealer take care of ordering it?

Thanks
