just called bmw they tell me im scheduled for week 45

the guy told me it takes about 4 days to build and i should have 2 or 3rd week of nov... true? anyone else have this week of production

If it helps, mine was scheduled for week 40, it was completed 10/1, left the VPC around 10/3 and after awaiting transport arrived at the dealer around the 15th.

So if yours does go into production in the begining of Nov, 2-3 weeks seems possible.

I have an order in for week 45 as well. Dealer said "before end of November".

I also have week 45. According to BMW, that's the first week of November. Hoping that it will be at dealership by end of November.

my Status : 112 - scheduled for daily production , we anticipat mid-Nov delivery.

I am scheduled for 2nd week of November, considering performance delivery, does anyone have any idea when it might be ready and by when I have to decide to go with performance delivery pickup.

2-3 weeks after production..you have to tell your salesman to notify the performance center that you are interested in picking up your x5 in spartanburg..i called last week the center to talk about seeing my x5 being built and they told me the plant will be closed to the public since they are working on projects and dont want anyone to see anything. the women on the other line told me the whole experience is worth it... im still up in the air if i want to do it..10 hr drive one way for me.

Just got email from dealer. My original order was scheduled for week 45 (112 status) just went into production today!

So it looks like delivery earlier in November rather than later!

My car is week 45 too....sadly it won't get to the UK until mid-Dec! I will actually take delivery first week of Jan as it makes a difference to the residuals weather it's registered in 2007 or 2008.
