Your best bet is to check on the internet or in the buy and sell, seeing as you are a fellow Torontonian. Going to the dealerships will kill you. Sometimes they have rims and tires in the autotrader, also if you see dealerships selling BMW cars/trucks ask them if they can get you deals on them....not the big dealerships but the smaller ones...

Wow, that's huge coin for rims and tires, but it makes sense I suppose. Ever thought of going across the border seeing as our dollar is so high right now?

For me, I would seriously have to have some trust in someone else holding onto my rims or ties for that matter. SOME dealerships are sneaky, might switch out tires for older or rims with more scratches. Just an FYI.

By the way what dealer are you dealing with?

That is very close to what mine were with taxes, in Vancouver, for 17" 116 with Dunlop M3 Wintersports including the tire pressure sensors, mounted and balanced. I believe they would store them as well if I wanted them to, and I would trust them to do so, but not required in my case.

well, listen to this Bulls***. got my e70 4.8i in Alberta (registered in Alberta as well), driving out in Waterloo (I go to school in Waterloo). Went to Waterloo BMW, 3900 on rims and tires and 500 for 1year storage. with 14% tax (even though i'm an Albertan, think i can get the PST portion back somehow?) came to over 5000. I hope there's a BMW rep here listening.

i doubt that they can do anything about the tax because when i went to school at u of t i had an alternator problem with my old x5 i had to pay the full amount although i have an alberta plate
or your can always get someone in alberta to buy it and ship it out to u
