Joining the X5 world... PICS on P3

Hey all. I've been lurking here for some time and finally put a deposit down on a leftover 07 X5. White/black, sport pkg, premium, tech, 3rd row (It will take some real emergency to get me back there - but hey), aluminum running boards, aero kit...and who knows what else - I saw it, drove it, and loved it.

Reading from the wealth of information here, I felt much better about the 07 being a first run for the production style. It seemed as if mostly the only issues were software upgrades and those are completed on this one.

I'm coming from a Jeep SRT8 which is a purpose built truck and when used for it's purpose, is really quite impressive (several trips over the Dragon at Deal's Gap, TN made me a believer). But the refinement and attention to detail in the BMW was really overwhelming and I knew the time had come for a change. Besides, its hard to have a business call on the bluetooth and hear a screaming 6.1L Hemi in the background.

I'm looking forward to great things and learning whatever I can from the new community.
