I just had a quick look at the configurator and although it does not show the power tailgate, other things seem to be correct for both the 3.0si and 4.8i. The pricing for the options (e.g. Premium Pack, etc.) is the correct 2008 pricing. There are no new interior colors listed because "officially" there are no new interior colors......although some people have been able to order Saddle Brown.

Nothing there yet.

I always find it to be an interesting approach to business when you go to a company like BMW (e.g., the accessories section) and essentially say, "I have money burning a hole in my pocket and would like to give it to you. can you tell me how I could do that?," and the implied response is "Sorry, we're too busy. Keep coming back and someday we'll find the time to tell you."

An odd business model to say the least.

^ I definitely want to get a hold of that BMW configurator CD that Fredo has. Their website is such a poor substitute.
