As far as a third row, I'm just wondering if it will be an option like it is in the current 4.8i. If not, I'd probably put my money into a low mileaged CPO'd '06 Cayenne Turbo S (520 hp) before buying a new X5 at 438 hp.
That info is wrong. There will not be an X5 M. As I said X6 will be the power horse. X6 will have the X6 M with new V10 with more HP than current M5.

i = gasoline engine
d = diesel
is = used for performance models
si = sport version models

GBG is on a distinguished road
Thanks LeMans.

Well, the X6 is useless for those of us looking for a family car that also has some giddyup. It looks about the same size as the 5 series. I assume it's AWD, which may be the only reason to buy it rather than a 550i or M5. Anyway, back to my original question-- what engine will be in the high performance version of the x5? Is the 4.8i (350 hp) as good as it gets or is th eearlier post about 410 hp accurate? Thanks. GBG
