Exclamation bmw brand experience in india (updated with pics +writeup)

a week ago i was invited by bmw india to an event they call "bmw brand experience" on the 13h and 14th of this month near a place called bombay.

we basically get to drive all the new cars including the m3,m5,m6,7,5,3,x3,x5. i also got to know that they will be having a slalom race, with a bmw 323i/325i, similar to the one found in this youtube video:

and

my friend also told me that, for the 180 degree turn around, you would have to use the hand brake otherwise you'd loose too much time.

so, when exactly and how would a race car driver do this? note this is an automatic car and not a manual.

so would i first turn the steering wheel then hit the brakes then finally the hand brake? just need some clarity here, especially from those that have some knowledge of racing.

we just get a try each and i want to nail this!

thanks for the help in advance!
cheers!

a friend posted pics and writeup here:

hope u like the read.
