Hey , I always ask for my cars to be left and I (well I mean my husband) will detail the car. Jeez have you seen how the dealers Car Valeters detail a car your paint work is ruined scratched and full of swirl marks before you have even driven the dam thing.

FWIW I am not a fan of that interior Colour in your X I had that kinda of colour in my X5 exclusive after a wee while I was sick of it.

Why did you sell the X ??

I am surprised of your BMW dealers, WTF is going on with them!!! I didn't hear and see any complains in Latvia from costumers because car is scratched or paint work is ruined. Believe me if something like this will hapen I will know, Latvia is small country and we have only two BMW dealers and about piece of shit like this will know everybody who drives BMW

I usualy drive one car max. 6 month, there was 23k km on it and buyer offer good price. Instead of this I hope in friday pick new one E70, my friends have good discounts in dealership and this deal is O.K. for me.

It's not just BMW dealers all dealers valeters are crap. they don't give a dam how they detail your car. Washing the car then dropping the sponge on the ground picking it up and continue washing your car imagine all that grit in the sponge etc etc etc.

Sure you can collect your car and yes it will look nice shiny, polished looking but get it home get the spot lights on the paint work and then be shocked at just how bad your paint work is.

Bad paint work bothers me hence I don't let the valeters near my brand new car it's already had enough from the transportation to the dealer not to mention all the high spots from the factory paint shop.

Scottie, no offence, but this is only a car, piece of metal on wheels that we use to get from point A to point B.
We all care for our cars and try to keep them in good condition, but I am not going to stay home if its snowing outside and cleanup trucks just passed by with salt and rock... Yeah, I would hate to get scratches and swirl marks on the car, but I am not going to freeze my hands washing it in the winter. I will go to better car wash and have them wash the car.

Your care shoulbe for a collectors type of vehicle, but if you cant trust a dealer or even a manufacturer to take care of your car then something is wrong.
