need production codes!!

sorry to bring this up again... i did a search and couldn't find the thread that contains the e70 production codes...

i just placed order and have production number...and now need to track its progress..

can anyone post it up again...or provide a link to the original thread??

You can do one of two ways.
Register your production code on owners circle website
http://oc.bmwusa.com/
or keep calling 800-831-1117 and keep checking the status over the phone.
From what I hear owners circle is slightly behind, but in my experience its just right, although over the phone you can get more info, but they will never give you specific information on when the car will be put on the truck to be shipped.

Now that you reminded me... I am showing that my X is at the preparation center... one more step and it will be at my dealership... I have a feeling it will take up to a week.
FYI originally production was scheduled for 2nd week of November, Actually went into production on I believe somewhere around 26 of October.

Nope, you never get numbers on owners circle. The information there is very vague.
If you know what the codes mean, where would you get other then from the actual dealer which code your car is at?
Calling worked well enough for me.

Call 1-800-831-1117 and look up your order with the production code. They have the most up to date it seems. The website is really off.
