Auto hold Function

Auto hold is on pages 61-62 of Owners Manual. BMW says I should receive my '08 next Friday. Will give review/pictures on new features such as Auto tailgate, auto hold, and DVD changer.

I suppose this feature was designed to make stop-and-go driving less painful?! . This is bordering on "lazy"

I can see where this comes in very handy in "parking lot" traffic. Spent a full hour in stop-and-go last night and how I wish I had something like this...

My Lexus LS 460 has the auto hold feature. I don't use it often, but I'm not stuck in bumper to bumper traffic often...

You push a button on the steering wheel on my Lexus. It holds the brakes on until you touch the gas pedal. You don't have to hold your foot on the brake pedal when you're stuck in traffic...
