You can have your shocks in a hi-po suspension re-valved for example. When I read this I took it as " you can press this button to stiffen up the shocks and anti-roll bar" This quote has nothing to do with throttle bodies in the motor and as I read it is 100% accurate. Cheers, KEF |

I have sports suspension but not adaptive drive. I prefer the tightness and handling provided over stock suspension. I live in the country and the roads are really twisty around here so it makes a big difference. If I was living in town with only occasional forays onto the twisty stuff then non-sports would be the way to go. I think the adpative drive is overpriced in Europe.

I agree that the adptive drive is overpriced but I have opted for it as I have gone for 21" wheels. I test drove a model with sports suspension and 21" wheels and you do feel the bumps a lot more. With the adaptive drive your not just getting the choice between stiffer or softer ride handling but also the zero body roll and pitch which even the sports suspension does not fully correct.

I wonder if the "active damper control" makes any difference when the adaptive drive suspension is engaged in 'sport mode'.
