My friend's deal on a '08 X5 4.8i

Last week, a friend of mine called me up and said his parents were ready to order a '08 X5 4.8i, but wanted a referral. So of course, I was happy to provide them with one, and after listening thru the options they wanted to get, I was like "oh ok cool, let me know how it goes on Saturday"

So today, I called him up and we chatted a bit on their deal and how it turned out. They ordered:

2008 X5 4.8i
Space Gray/Gray Nevada Lthr w/Bamboo wood trim (the latter two were my influence)
Technology Package
Sport Package
Running Boards
Rear Climate Package.

The earliest day it could arrive is Dec. 1st. He told me they negotiated it to $60,000. I just checked the invoice price, and it's actually right around $58,100; meaning they paid $1900 above invoice and $2675 below MSRP.

Now since I'm used to working with X3s and 3-series, I think $1900 is a pretty mediocre deal on a new BMW. But maybe its not.........thoughts?
