I thought this was now free for 3 years. Im sure I read it somwhere I will try and find the URL. Having said that if you have a letter then I may be miss informed unless its only on newly registered cars |

I think I may be getting this mixed up. Looking on the BMW UK website it says:
Every new vehicle equipped with Bluetooth telephone preparation and a navigation system, is entitled to a free of charge three year BMW ConnectedDrive account. Is ConnectedDrive not the same as Assist? |

My letter says that BMW Assist has been recently enhanced to become BMW ConnectedDrive. Certainly when I bought my E70 I knew it was only for 6 months - just trying to work out if it is worth the extra dosh.

I would ring them up and ask why are new owners getting it free for 3 years.

i think it's actually 4 years from date of purchase...
