You can find info on E70 wheels here http://zoouz.free.fr/e70_wh.htm

It includes part numbers and tyre sizes.

Some BMW wheels come with tryes as a set, although I think this only happens for the 21"

marcx5,

You have runflats? If so, only BMW snow package appears to be these 209's with runflats
Those are what I'm planning to purchase.

Hi Marcx5, I think the picture on the bmw link you posted is incorrect.

That's a picture of the 21" style 239 - the 18" 209 looks much plainer.

jayo,

I think your comment was addressed to me. You're correct that the link that I supplied says that it's showing a 209 style wheel. I think that the one that I have attached below is a "star spoke 209 style"....

So I suspect that BMW might reuse style numbers but I haven't spent time looking into it.

ARGH, I'M CONFUSED.

1) what does the 'accurate' picture of the style 177 look like?
2) i have run flat's on my 20" summer tires that came with car. but i do not need to get run flats for 18" snow tires, right? why would i? so i was looking at the Bridgestone Blizzak's.

Hi Brian5,

Sorry, i wasn't trying to say you got it wrong, as you said it is Bmw NA that have the wrong picture.

Iwould be pretty mad if I ordered them based on their picture and then received the real 209 wheels

The 209 style wheel is actually the one that is standard on the X5 3.0si.

1. Picture of style 177 attached.
2. I have run flats on my 20" summer tires as I have 3rd row. No, you don't have to get run flats for your 18" snow tires --- I'm choosing to though as I do not have a spare tire...

thanks. so we are all sure that the pic you posted is definitely for style 177?

i also agree, if you have 3rd row, then run flats are important... if not (which i don't), then there should be a spare and i can get regular snow tires.

does anyone know how much style 177 wheels should cost? what's dealer cost?
