SERIOUSLY, why does my dealer have 2008 brochures for EVERY car except X5's????

What is going on??? Why is the X5 brochure for 2008 STILL not available?? are they even going to make one for this car?

my dealer has no information and has a brochure for every other model.

does anyone have an inside connection to at least get an answer... or have an electronic version somewhere?

Roundel magazine last month in the rumors column stated rather matter of factly that the twin-turbo gasoline engine would be available in the 2008 X5. Perhaps they are waiting for that addition mid-year.

I heard that they are not going to print the 2008 X5 brochure as the engine is being replaced by twin-turbo in January build.

Other items that will included in January 2008 builds are:

• Force feedback on iDrive
• Night vision
• Active cruise control
• Adjustable ride height
• Increased gas mileage
• Larger gas tank
• Auto tailgate will close from console button
• Floor liners included
• Orange turn signals
• Efficiency Dynamics
• Tire & wheel protection

BTW, actually none of what I said above is true...

I think there's a shortage of X5 brochures all around. We asked for one at VOB in Rockville and BMW of Bayside, neither had them.

i don't think a 2008 brochure even exists... seriously, i haven't heard of ANYONE who has gotten one.
