To debage or not to debage that is the question.

Today took the X to the carwash and didnt like how much dirt was visible around the badges, At the moment dont have the photos of the badges on the side, but dirt around those looked the worst. My first car in such dark color, I knew that it would require more work to maintain, but didnt realise how bad dirt would show.
Anyway, what are your thoughts?
I am leaning towards yes.

well if you have the time to keep it really clean in the first place, don't bother. but if you are a perfectionist with not a lot of time then i guess it could be worth it.

I think the "X5" size/font/style etc fits very well.... I would not take it off. After all, you will see most of the dirt on the black body, dirt around badges would be the least of your worries

I think it looks good on a 325,330,335 but not an X5, as Alexmish said it "fits"

the dirt on X5 badge on the back is not as bad as the 3.0si on the sides since they are pretty small and hide the dirt better. Originally I wanted to take off just the 3.0, but I didnt want people to have impression that I am hiding the fact that engine is 3.0
Is this a bad idea? will people think that i am trying to pose my X as 4.8?

Regarding others knowing what car I am driving? well they know its a BMW, other then that why should I care if someone thinks it might be X3 or a Hundai.. I know what i have and that what matters to me.

I like the X5 badge on the back, I don't think anybody will care (or notice) if you take the 3.0si off the side.
