Serious Question~~

I have 2008 X5 3.0si without sport package.
I try to upgrade my wheels to 20" style 214. so I asked BMW dealer about fender flares kit.
They said 4.8 and 3.0 fender flares are same so i don't need to buy extra flares. is that true?

I had to purchase the flares when I upgraded to the 20" Y Spokes.

You can just order these 4 flares, they are pretty cheap too. And they are indeed the same, when both models (4.8 and 3.0) have no sport package AND no 20 inch rims.

I think I paid less than $150 plus I had to get the plastic rivets.

Was $300 installed?

My X5 3.0si has sport pack with 19" wheels style 212 and I want to upgrade to 21" style 215 in Ferric Grey Alloy, 385/35R21W front; 325/30R21W rear. But I afraid these wheels are too big to fit in my car, or are there special fender flares for them?
Anyone has installed this wheels for X5 3.0si? If it possible, please inform me the part numbers of wheels and fenders, and where to buy. Thanks !
