Got my 2008 4.8i X5 back from the shop today.
Replaced right rear level sensor & now all appears to be fine.
Ride home was normal. Hope this was a 'one of'.
Vehicle was ready when promised. Washed (wheels well cleaned also!), vacuumed & ready to go. SA apologized for the trouble, enquired about my satisfaction with the loaner handed me my paperwork & I was on my way.
Pleased with the service. The local dealer seems to try hard to keep his customers happy (in spite of having no competition for 75 miles or so.) Very happy to have the car back!
