Do you like these wheels for winter? it's ONLY option from Tire Rack...
ok, we are about to get some seroius snow in the northeast, and i need snow tires/wheels since i've got 20" on my new x5 (which i pick up tomorrow).
the ONLY wheels currently available from Tire Rack are the O.Z. Sardegna any opinions on these (see link/pic below)? i have mixed feelings and i'm concerned all the snow will get stuck in the openings in these wheels... but i don't know how else to get wheels/tires QUICKLY! any suggestions?? what's a good store that would have something in stock? http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...t+Silver+Paint

I have a set of the 18's that come on the 4.8 with Michelins and about 1200 miles on the I will sell you cheap. Then you can run any number of winter tires (if the all season run flat Michelins do not do the trick).

marcx5,
Nothing wrong with TireRack but I suggest checking out the price that you can get the BMW "Winter Tire Pack Style #209" from Morristown BMW first. Or you can buy it from one from one your local dealers if you can get a good discount.

![]() I easily (probably left money on the table) got my dealer to sell the OEM solution for $700 a corner/$2.800. A few $$$'s more then TireRack, but OEM wheels with OEM TPM sensors, mounted, balanced, etc. I just don't like the looks of a aftermarket wheel on a $60-$70K vehicle. Just my humble opinion.

![]() I also got my local dealer to sell me the OEM solution for $2,800. The 209 wheels are not exciting but I wanted OEM wheels. Also, I think that that I'm going to be having the dealership change the wheels...
