Seal failure, water getting to electrics....
Car is in workshop, as the heater started to have a mind of its own, and was opening and shutting air vents at it's own free will, which can tend to be rather annoying at this time of year.......
I lived with it for a few weeks, but then called a tech out, but surprise surprise, the car wouldn't do it when he came out Another week or so later, and i have taken it in, as i got fed up with no heat to my feet. I found that the symptoms were worse just after car had been washed, and so told the dealer of my thoughts, about water getting in somewhere. Turns out, that a seal has failed, and it will be a full 2 day dash board out job to replace it, and they aren't even sure when they can get the part yet.... ![]() Anyone else had this ?, and am i entitled to a courtesy car while mine is out of action ??? Cheers G.
