why does the ac come on everytime we start the car even if we turned it off previously. you think that the car could remmber the last position of the ac like ti does the rest of the settings in the car, wouldnt you??

Mine stays in the last position it was in before switching off when it's switched back on. Do you use the "Auto" feature? I do.

Mine stays off if it was off when I stop the engine, even if AUTO is on.

Isn't this tied to the key that is used? Is it possible that the key being used isn't "memorized," and therefore, the vehicle isn't retaining the settings?

That's what i was meaning. But if I switch auto off and then back on again, the AC comes on.

as the manual states... when you 'push' auto... it will turn the ac on to control humidity....

Mine remmbers the last postion and goes back to it, UNLESS I turn it off. If I turn it off(the AC and FAN) when I start the car again the fan and or ac comes back on.
