I just placed an order today for the following:

Sand Beige Nevada Leather Perforated

655 SIRIUS Satellite Radio
It's basically the X5 from the '07 brochure. The marketing guys know their audience.

Congrats! when is your expected arrival? Seem like alot of the 4.8's are being ordered..

Thanks! I'm excited. I don't have the arrival date, but expected in late January. Dealer will have more certain date later in the week. I was told probably week of Jan 21ish. Christmas/New Years interferes with production, apparantly, which I can totally understand.

Your expected delivery sounds about right. I ordered pretty much the same package as yours on Friday an was given an expected mid january delivery.

Great. How do you check your order online? I know mine is way new, and not processed, but you can thru the Owners Circle?

Yes, you'll see it through the Owners Circle when it has a production number (or VIN).

I know its early in the process but will you be doing any mods?

I was told by the sales dude that because it's a new vehicle 'build' that it's taking time. I'm sure he could bust BMWNA's balls, but I don't care. It comes when it comes. Now, that doesn't mean that I haven't stopped bugging him.
