KEF has already posted this info in this thread http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...?highlight=KEF

He actually helped me set up my hard-wired V1 too...

Hey Brian, hope your holidays went well.

How is the tap working out? I have still not ordered the one size smaller vamp clip, but plan to soon. Any power connection issues or is it working as we left it?

Cheers,
KEF

I answered my own question and figured it out I think it was a green/white wire on the second set of plugs(four plugs)

if I remmber correctly this was the same color that I used on my 335i.

thanks for the help, I tried searching but came up empty that link was what I needed. I was jsut impatient haha.

KEF,

My holidays have been good. Hope yours have been too! Noticed that you've been absent for a while...

Have been so busy that I haven't put the V1 back after taking the car in to have the winter wheels mounted. Have family arriving from overseas tomorrow so should put it back up for my 2 hour (each way) ride to NY airport.

I should go to my local Radio Shack and pick up the smaller vamp clip.

Edited to add update: Just put V1 and its concealed display back up. They're working just fine. The V1 works really well to the right of the mirror as it does not protrude beyond the side of the mirror; it's just above it and the rear detector is unobstructed.
