Hi Janis

The remapp is undetectable according to the company I use and have been assured by their own admission (BMW technicians) too.

The cost would be about £1000 for the remapp, this is however for it to be done in UK. The company I use do fortunately travel to US,Middle East and Asia to upgrade cars so it may be worth your while giving them a call.

Cheers man....

Bad,bad choice if you ask me....116 is definitely not the way to go.It is so underpowered that even an e30 316 will leave it in its dust....You can extrapoliate a few horses by making a few mods, but in my opinion spend it on a better engine. Huge mistake it was and now wished I had opted for 120d. She was nagging me though and couldn't wait.....

Welcome to the World

Do you have details concerning the performance after remapping? 0-62mph times, v max?
I'm looking into Hartge who claim to give 355hp and 675nm torque.

Hey Ajogu

That I don't have...maybe good idea to contact them and ask for some figures.

All I can say is that I know many who have had their 535d remapp (identical engine to sd) and on the dyno they got 340bhp & 500lbs/ft. My very own M3 was also tweaked by them and produced 360bhp & 300lbs/ft.

Bear in mind not all cars perform the same, I know this from experience with quoted figures and actual. Your best bet and I always recommend this to people is to get the car remapped before and after.

Tiko
