Was typing up my post when you posted your so didn't see it till mine went through. So liquid clay bar does sound like something different from the traditional clay bars.

I did think it was a bit odd that a traditional clay bar would get out stains. From my experiences they haven't been able to remove a stain, but are great at getting rid of tar and other embedded objects on the surface of the car.
