2,000 Mile Review

My friend's 4.8i with 1200mi on the clock gets 14 miles to the gallon, average over mostly city driving. He loves the energy consumption meter in the tach, but hates the average consumption info. "It's really too depressing, I try not to look at it"

This is a great thread. I have put over 4k on my X5 that I bought in late October. What a great vehicle! As someone who used this forum extensively before I bought my X, I will say that these kinds of threads are simply invaluable to the new members, lurkers, and all those that want accurate, (relatively) unbiased views of this car.
