Power tailgate and aluminum trim for Canada??
I am trying to put my order together. Just talk to the dealer and told me that there is no power tailgate nor aluminum trim for Canada. Is that correct? If anyone in Canada can order that, please let me know with the part number. Thanks.

Bmw is funny, in Panama we have aluminum trim, but now powered tailgate.

I just ordered my 08 3.0 X5 today, after spending almost the whole day with the rep I can tell you that there is no aluminum offered for the X5 and there is no such a thing as a power lift gate - what they refer to as 'power gate' is a the electronic release handle.

It's amazing how BMW decides upon this! In the UK we have both...actually if we didn't have the Aluminium it would probably hurt sales as wooden trim is the least popular here. I think the powered tailgate is great...probably one of the best extra spec I have on my car with comfort access and comfort seats.
