Bluetooth w/iPhone on X5

I picked up my new 08 X5 last week and hooked up my iphone with the built in bluetooth.

Prblm is when the phone book comes up, it only shows the first three digits as opposed to the entire 10 digit number (i.e. just 415 instead of 415-555-5555). Due to this, when the number dials, it only dials 3 digits and doesn't work.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thx.'

there are a dozen threads on this topic.

Is your iPhone updated to latest version?

I agree with the last post. I re-paired mine (after a cold restart of the phone) and it has worked great ever since.

Have you tried to pair any other BT device with the X5? If you have one and it works okay, then it may be the iPhone. I suppoed you could also try to pair the iPhone to another BT accessory that uses addressbooks, but that would be more rare. If you have a Garmin Nuvi or something like that it would work.
