I noticed this today, but is it worth me...

... bringing it to the attention of my dealer in hope's that they will fix it?

As you can see from the last picture, if I put some pressue to it, it moves forward and lines up the way it should be, and the way the other side is.

The clip probably isn't seated properly or is broken. You paid for the warranty. Use it.

I guess you're right... it's just that there are so many little things happening to my car, that i feel I'm calling the dealer every minute.

The quality of assembly line is not so compatable to the selling price.

My rear-right DOOR has the same problem. The mechanician adjust the striker so that the door align with the body.

definitely take it back and constructively whinge about it, the more this type of thing is accepted the more we'll see corner cutting and be expected to accept it in future

I had a similar problem with the rear fender flare and took it to the dealer and they fixed it without any fuss. pretty poor quality control if u ask me

Yeah take it to the dealer and have them look at it and fix it.
This type of thing isn't new, my 2003 M3 had the window stripping fall off the car at 1,000 miles (and that was made in Germany)...yeah...fall off the car. Try that on your new ride
