Thats one of the best parts about PCD, you use their cars (in their terms, NYC - not your car!!!).

Good to see a pic of Donnie Isley, he's a great instructor.

This is the best way to get any new BMW, its a shame most dealers have NO CLUE, about this option even though its free to you.

I'm scheduled to pick up my X5 on Valentine's Day (Thursday, February 14) and am hoping they let me briefly slide behind the wheel of a new M5 or M6.

I already own an E39 M5, so it wouldn't be that big of deal, right??

Donnie Isley is a great instructor and amazing driver! The M5 hot laps with him were the best roller coaster rides ever!

The program is free from BMW, all you are responsible for is getting to Spartanburg, SC. BMW provides the hotel, meals, and the driving experience.

X5Audi- the M driving experience is even better if you get the M3, you get to be on the track for 2 days! with more personalized and extensive instruction.

JiAvW - Unfortunately they don't let you drive the M5 but you can ride along with the instructors. When I did my 6 series driving experience a few years back however, I got to drive all the cars, including M3 (old version) but not the M5 then because it was not yet released.

It is a must for anyone who can!

I'm certain I would love a hot lap with an instructor in the M5/6.

I invited my dad to go with me (since you get to bring an "accomplice") instead of my girlfriend. My brother was my first choice (his birthday is on the 17th, 3 days later) but he lives in Dallas and isn't traveling here to Nashville this year for his birthday.

I'm going to work them a little bit though to see if they let me. I'm going to show them pics of my M5, and then maybe talk about how I'm thinking about upgrading it, and would they mind if I got a little bit better "test drive" experience than I would get at a dealership.

Worst case, I only get to ride along for the hot lap.

They are very cool there and they just might accomodate you! I took my GF and she loved it! You get to switch up between drivers, so everyone gets to drive and have fun.
