shipped on Fri/Sat. and it's still not at my dealer yet as of today (Tues).

He predicts it'll be ready for pickup by next Tuesday... which is longer than my estimate of 1-day arrival, 1-day prep, and 1-day aero kit. I guess I'm just splitting hairs now...

This is odd. My X5 was built Friday and shipped from South Carolina yesterday. When I called my salesman, he said his computer shows that it is due to arrive at the dealer on Friday Night. So I can pick it up on Saturday Afternoon. I am just north of NYC, not all that far from you.

I was guessing that the shipping occurred over the weekend but from your case, it only shipped out yesterday. I am probably in the same boat as you as far as days go then... plus another day for the aero kit - hopefully they do that work on Saturday. He's probably giving himself some extra time.

Looks like BMW prefers the Giants over the Pats
It seems like you NY guys (rh71, mwares212) are getting yours before mine even though mine was also completed on the 18th (according to the factory). Neither the factory nor the dealer can give me any more specific info on delivery...I think everybody is mad at New England these days...

Mine was completed on 1/18 as well...but now she's on a train with some cattle cars to LA, then on a truck to the dealer. Godspeed to all of yours.

Getting closer...
Well, my dealer called and said my X5 is on a truck and should arrive at the dealer tomorrow (1/25). Assuming the title arrives as well (he warned me that titles sometimes arrive separately--and later), we should be driving this weekend.

mwares212, seems like BMW may like the Pats after all

mad nahh, hate them maybe. of course i have similar emotions for the likes of the giants.
