I had an accident!

Guyz my poor poor car is in the body shop, some idiot who just got her license has uased a U-turn without even checking the road and i was just a few meters away. I am pissed, it would take them atleast 15 to 18 days to repair the car. I'm just confused at how my car got damaged to this extent compared to her toyota prado's which had a minor reck in the rear bumper :S

I'll leave you with the pixx

Nop, cannot be totalled

it's goona cost them around $20,000 in repairs, which is just too much

I remember reading that thinner, much lighter weight body panels are
used in the front of the E70; and from the way they are "attached",
they appear to be more susceptible to impact damage.

Glad you are ok; the car can be fixed.

Glad you're ok. Is that oil on the hood and if so, is it from the X5?

Glad you are OK... It looks like the panels just cracked apart, like a plastic... That must be power steering or brake fluid, right ?

It is still faster to fix the car rather than total it and then wait another 6+ months to get a new one... right ?

That's because they are plastic not metal. The hood is aluminum. Dents real easy.
Car and drive highlighted this technology advancement by saying "Both lightweight and pedestrian friendly,
the hood is made of aluminum and the fenders from thermoplastic.

I know that had to hurt (not physically)
