Replica 20" question

I will be looking to buy the replica 20" wheels for my 08 X5. Does anyone know if they are compatable with the TPMS sensors? Do the wheels have the notch on the inside for the sensors?
Thanks to all.

You shouldn'y have a problem, just make sure the tires are balanced correctly and you reset your tpm

there are a couple of online shops out there that sell decent wheel/tire combos...some are also replicas...

i am considering these replicas because i don't have the add-on fender flares and these are slightly narrower than the OEM ones... a total wheel/tire and tpms sensor pkg runs about $3000 balanced and shipped.

Doesn't the Tire Pressure Monitor System measure the wheel rotation and judge pressure that way? For example, if one tire is ballooned to 100 Lbs and the other side tire is at 25 Lbs, the larger tire will make fewer rotations. Thus, the light goes off since they're uneven.

We've beaten this question to death here multiple times already. It depends on which country you are in. The USA gets the sensors, europe gets the wheel rotation method.

I'm new too, and after doing a search on this topic, found nothing.
Anyways, like I mentioned, I already received the tires and should have the wheels sometime this week. I will be using the factory sensors (US model) and will keep you posted on how it all works out.
