hey, i had the same problem! and it buged the hell out of me!
i went to the service center and they did nothing, but later on i discovered that the plastic part (for the plate number) was a bit out of place thats why the sensor wasnt working properly. try it and see, maybe thats the problem. cheers |

i just checked , the sensor that is bad is the one at the corner and there is nothing in front of it

i did not say that there mught be something infront of it, just try pushing the plate number plastic frame. i had the same problem and i pushed it to fix the position of the plate number (it was a bit loose) and the sensor was okay.

I had all of mine replaced. They were chipping and malfunctioning. There was a Bulletin.

Mine (right front) has come on (or stayed on) three or four times.
Pushing the PDC button on the lower console shuts it down & then all is fine. In my case it has not been worth a trip to the service center. Mine was a November 2007 build so it looks to be outside the dates in the posted doc. Let us know what you discover.
