You are really fortunate!

In Europe, it is totally impossible to be able to obtain such plates.

The rule is very strict on the subject (except can be in England)...

X5-452

but I doubt anyone who wasn't a fan of Dark Angel would get it. I loved that show and Alba still rules.

Yes, mine is definitely real! I was surprised myself that it wasn't taken.

My state has a vanity plate option, where you can apply for a specific plate number. They even have a search engine online to see if a certain plate is available. If it is, there is an application form that is submitted to the state with the registration fee (I think it's around $40 here) and they send the vanity plate and new vehicle registration papers a few weeks later. That extra fee is paid each time the registration is renewed, in addition to the regular registration fees. Easy, breezy, and it helps make my X something different than the rest...

Although I should add that non-BMW fans don't get the plate. My plate reads "EX-FIVE." I've had a number of people ask me, "Just how many times HAVE you been married?" LOL!

Dave

lol i wish we had them here ..

the mentality here is different tho .. if you have a two digit or even one digit plate number then it means your a VIP .. they sell plate numbers here that can go up to millions ..

Abu Dhabi plate number "5" was sold for 25 million AED

stupid mentality here ..
i personally dont give a damn about plate numbers

i also read somewhere that a person paid $675,000 for a number 6 plate!!!

says the number has sentimental value and has been represented in the family for centuries...
