tinting windows above 30% is prohibited here as well , but its very easy to get away with things like this ..

turning the traction off would have resulted inj the x5 totalled :P lol

DSC off is the only way...

Had my X5 in Dubai before I moved to Europe and you have to have the traction off to go out on the sand. Much better to drive with the wheels spinning and keep the momentum up over the sand.

DSC just tries to stop the wheel which is spinning. In sand that's all of them, so you can't get the wheel speed up.

Missing the desert driving when I see pictures!!!

I would like to drive like you on the beach; but, just in case I need someone to pull me out, I definitely will hear somebody says "what a stupid guy to play a BMW in sand...."
