Vanity Plate Ideas

We've had out X5 less than a week now and love it (other than the fact we have to bring it to the dealer to get the BMW assist fixed) We have a couple of weeks before we have to register it and we were thinking of getting a vanity plate. My wife wants to just put our last name on it (its only 5 letters long) but isn't that taboo or something? What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Are these for real? Dave and Art?
I knew about Michelle's and Greg's, but who is Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia?

to the OP:
"X5" and that's it.

That really is my plate. The "Anchorage BMW" is also real, but I didn't buy the X there. I called BMW of Anchorage on the phone and bought the plate frames from them. They UPS'd them down to me here in Washington. I did it as a joke because my best friend has a 3 series with plate frames he bought from BMW of Honolulu. The plate frame isn't wearing well, so I'm looking for a blank replacement for it. But yes, that really is my Washington plate.

Mine isn't as cool as the X5 plates...it's a nod to the altitude we
live at on the mtn in western NC: eg 5 Thousand.

Fwiw, my knucklehead son has our last name on his NJ plate; he
had no problem getting last name on his plate.

Vanity plates are fun, I think.
