Sapphire I think it looks cleaner when it's starting to get dirty. The metallic sparkles and reflects the sunlight.

Jet Black---much clearer and deeper shine than Sapphire. If owners say Sapphire is the easier of the blacks to keep clean they shouldn't be getting any black at all--there is no easy black to keep clean. But black looks best when clean--it's a tradeoff. I've had Jet Black on my e53 for 7 years and it looks like new. Any black you need to spend extra care on (no auto washes, good towels, etc) like any new car but if it's parked outside or you will be driving a ton on it I would go with another color.
