Gorgeous! I agree that it's the hottest X5 here! Carbon Black is beautiful in the sun!

I actually think the original look in Aug 07 looks more classy and clean. The all-black version looks like Dark Vader. Of course it's all personal preference.

well, I felt that this would rather be "my dad's car" though. the all black lowered version is more mine ... . here in germany, there is not many X5 like this now, and I am not so much a friend of "mainstream". before, with the alumina trim, I felt it looked like any Q7, cayenne, X5, ML... I am coming from core sportscars all the way and therefore I wanted my SUV look as sporty as possible, still being a great family vehicle and - in spite of its size - an economic long distance car...

attached one more pic "after..." for its fans

Looking good. How do the H&R springs effect the handling/ride of the vehicle?

I like this application of the all black look. The only thing that looks awkward to me is the tire thickness, and the gap in the wheel well which makes the low-ride of the car look out of proportion. But otherwise

how much u paid just for your rim?
I'm waiting for my x5 3.0sd, it has the exactly the same rims as yours, but with black. lucky me, I paid only $3000(australia dollars) + tax. RRP is around $11000.
