How many miles are most people getting for their brakes/rotors?

Thanxs!

I would guess between 20K and 70K depending on how/where you drive it - and the fronts will go first

Wow 70K!!! That's a huge range.

I've never gotten that much before on any of my cars. But then again I like to push the car once in a while even when there's really no where to go (LA driving conditions isn't great).

I guess I'm looking for an average of what people get. I'll probably fall into that.

Since it's much bigger brakes (compared to a sedan), I'm just curious if it's about the same or if they wear out much faster. On average, on my 3 series I get about 25K.

You ask in the newer E70 forum where owners probably haven't eaten up their
oem brakes yet...

Our '01 E53 did 46K on the fronts and 60K+ on the rears, fwiw.
At current 64K, the redone fronts are still fine, as obviously are
the rear set.

Search Tab should turn up a litany of threads on brake life.

Great point on that most E70's haven't gone through them yet. Didn't think of that point! Sorry for the lame posts.
