PARK vs BRAKE warning lamp
Upon startup of my 2007 E70, there are 2 warning lamps for PARK and BRAKE. The PARK refers to the parking brake; what does the BRAKE refer to? Also, I noticed BRAKE appears in both yellow and red color.

This is something that's DEFINITELY in the manual.
It's likely a failure light that refers to the failure of EBV or DBC. In my X3, "Brake" in red means both have failed. If it lights up in yellow, it means EBV remains operational. This may have changed, but it should be similar in context. |

or, as in the E53, it is time for new brakes......
(but then again, "Brake" in the E83 means the parking brake it up. Either way, I've never had it illuminated...)
