Smile 20s are back on!

AAAHHHHH! After a long and tough Montreal winter, time to enjoy the big 20''s again! Just put them back on again today and wow I am as amazed as the first time I drove them last year. They truly transform the ride of the X5. It truly drives like a sport sedan! Love it!

Might as well do them yourself, this way you make sure they dont scratch anything and that they are torqued right with a torque wrench.

more power to you that you can do this so much. The one time I had to take the 19s out of my trunk (replaced with permanent all season 20s) it was not light work. I can't imagine loading them all up, having them swapped, then taking out the replaced ones afterward... twice a year. It's just a lot of work in and out of the back of the X there and they're not exactly light.

I guess you guys with the heavy snow don't have much of a choice if you want 20s.

I believe in most cases, the shop offers winter tire/wheel storage service so that you don't have to carry 4 tire/wheels in your trunk.

Agreed. Most shops torque the bolts WAY beyond the required spec.

Anyhow, it's always nice to be back on summers!
