M Package or Aero Kit?

Hi Guys:

I wanted to know the difference between the M Package and the Aerokit. How much is the M Package? Is it offered in the US? How long does it take to get (the same 1 to 1.5 months)?

Thanks.

M-sport pack is not available in US. M-sport is done at factory. Aero kit is accessory and usually added by dealer.

Yup. US doesn't get the M-Sport. I think it looks great on dark color cars, especially black. But the aero kit looks good on lighter color cars where you can see the contrast with the black bumpers (ie: white, space grey, silver, etc)

Definitely buy the Aero kit from the forum sponsor dealership- Morristown BMW, see their section in the BMW related forums section. Then get it installed outside the dealership. You'll save yourself some $$$.

MSport in Australia includes; multifunction steering wheel, suspension, wheels, highline gloss around windows - i think thats it.

Aero Kit is just bodywork at front and rear

i have both and wouldnt have it any other way

you cannot have both! either M package OR aero package. this is becaus the m pack has a completely different bodywork than the "normal" X5. what you probably mean is the sportspack, not the m-sportspack.

that suppose to be sports package only, not M package.
In oz, we have something called M wheels, M bodykits and etc, but it doesn't come within a whole Package.

hi everyone. I have the aerokit on and i was thinking if it is possible to order and fit the rear bumper of the Mkit? Has anyone done it? will i have a problem with the flares? i read in another post that they are wider... I think mine are similar because i appart from the aerokit i also have sports package which offers wider flares than the original.

the only difference could be that i would need to paint the plastic parts.... or not?

thanks,

Hi Juicer

Is there any chance of a taking a few pictures of your E70 with the M Sport pack & the Aero kit installed. That's a very intressting combination you have and I dont think many would have though it possible. Thanks.

In the UK there is two options, you can get a SE bog standard, hardly any are produced like that or add a Dynamic Pack to it which brings, sports suspension, sports stearing wheel, 19 inch wheels, electric sports seats, leather, high gloss window surrounds and blach headlining.

Or you could get a M Sport which is a full colour body kit, and M Tec wheel and the Dynamic Pac.

I went with the sd SE with Dynamic Pac, it needs the black to break the bulk of the coloured area, but is everything else an M Sport would be.
