I'd rather a limo be a limo. Not an escalade, not an X5 and PLEASE NOT a Hummer.

I reserved a car for Friday night and stressed that they please not send anything obnoxious.

In the UK that is the tackiest thing you can do. Most people have something much more elegant like a Rolls. I hired a 1926 Rolls when I got married.
