Near as I can tell, using the "build your own" feature, it appears that the V-8 and Diesel get the titanium grills, while the I-6 gasoline gets the black grills.

Penguin, he is talking about the mesh, not the grills, coz the 35d surely looked better on this page.... just re-read the OP, thread title says Grills, and yet im pretty sure he is talking about the mesh below the grills...
wow, so its not only me who noticed it, as a matter of fact, i got two IE tabs open, side by side, and nooooo, the 35d with Sports package i built doesnt have the silver mesh like the one on the page above....

As far as I know that kindey grill is Silver for diesel but the mesh (two pieces) are part of the sport package.

My diesel with sport package has both silver kidney grills as well as silver mesh...
The mesh would be black without the sport package. I don't know about the kidney grills... Craig |
