Ipod Power Draining Battery (Flashing Lights)

I keep my 60GB iPod connected all the time, and it seems to be constantly charging. Am I putting my battery at risk, and is that why my E70's lights occasionally flash on and off while parked?

Thanks.

i also keep my ipod connected at all times.. (including overnight)

haven't had a battery problem yet!! (going on 6 months now)

but just for your info...the system will power down after a few minutes...(i read somewhere it may be upto 15min, but don't quote me..)

i wouldn't worry about it...

but if it makes you comfortable you can always remove it when you leave it overnight!

What lights are you referring to? Is it a red light from the bottom of the rear view mirror? That's part of the alarm (I think).

Headlights. That doesn't sound normal at all. Take it in to the dealers.
