rear DVD for active headrests - whats available?

I have seen a few threads here on rear DVD systems, but dont think anyone has addressed the active headrest issue.
The headrests cannot have the behing headrest setup due to them being, um, active - anyway, has anyone with active headrests installed a system, if so, success? make? performance?

I would like dual screens and remote headphones, with connectivity to a PC and XBOX eventually.

Im here! It shouldn't be long now before these are available through BMW. And no this system is not a cheaply made system. It actually an extrmely high quality product and the company's pride and joy. Please feel free & call me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!

there isn't much of a choice for active headrests. i contacted invision and for some reason they don't post pictures of the "new" dvd system for this. however, based on the description they gave me i would assume they would look very much like the ones posted in this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/bsws-mobile-e...tml#post461029 in which I would not be interested.

Here's the pic invision sent me when I asked - I believe they said they were unable to post pics because of technical difficulty reasons. This is out of the X6 catalog (good for E70 too) so I don't know why it wouldn't be allowed so here it is... (grainy though as it was saved as a gif originally).

Hi Gary
Yes, I saw these, but Im not a great fan of that setup, they intrude into the rear cabin too much
Im looking for options to this
thanks

Difficult to tell from that picture...obviously depepnds on finish etc but it looks quite cheap to me. I think I would rather but a cheap portable DVD player with one of those brackets that hooks on the two metal posts for what I am guessing would be a lot less money.
